Ahadi Kenya Trust launched a nationwide shoe-distribution initiative dubbed 'FUKUZA FUNZA NA KIATU'. The purpose of the footwear distribution project is to help prevent children from getting infested with jiggers. Simply wearing shoes is one way of combating jiggers.

To date, millions of children have benefited from free shoes generously given by TOMS and other footwear donated by various organisations and well-wishers. The initiative has also expanded to include the distribution of clothes and foodstuff to schools and communities.
